Carmel Convent Secondary School, ACC, Mancherial, established in 1972, is a Catholic Christian Institute managed by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel (C.M.C). CMC is a religious and charitable association of a religious minority group within the purview of the Constitution of India. It is a co-education English Medium School that follows the educational philosophy of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel. The school had a humble beginning in a building of Mancherial Cement Works at A.C.C., Colony, mainly to serve the A.C.C., employees. In the year 1982, the school was shifted to a magnificent building in a sprawling 9 acres campus in pollution free environment at Mancherial. Slowly and steadily, the school progressed and expanded. From its humble origin with 14 students and today it is regarded as the premier institution of Mancherial providing quality education to the students of Mancherial town and surrounding areas. The school has acquired a unique system of motivation and self discipline and is well known for a sound character formation and quest for excellence.
